Meet Our Family Dentists at Stafford General Dentistry in Massillon, OH

Corey J. Stafford, D.M.D.

A lifelong resident of Stark County, Dr. Stafford graduated from Jackson High Scool in 2000. He then attended Kent State University majoring in Biology prior to graduating from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine where he received his DMD in 2010.

Dr. Stafford has a special interest in Oral Surgery, Endodontic and Pedodontics and has advanced training in Bonded Restorations, Orthodontics, Implants and Esthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Stafford continues to serve his country as a member of the Ohio Army National Guard since April of 2000 and was recently promoted to the rank of Major.

He also served his community as a dental resident in the GPR Program at Mercy Medical Center from 2010 to 2011.

Dr. Stafford lives in the Massillon Area with his wife and two children.

Ronald J. Saxen, D.D.S.

A leading Dental Care Provider in the Canton / Massillon area, Dr. Saxen graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1975. Prior to that he completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1971.

Known for being a good listener and having a gentle touch, Dr. Saxen is dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and healthy mouths in a warm, comfortable setting using the latest technology patients have come to expect and deserve. He is proficient in all phases of Dentistry and is recognized as a Fellow by the Academy of General Dentistry . His special interests include reconstructive and restorative dentistry as well as cosmetic and preventative procedures. Dr. Saxen is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and served as President of the Stark County Dental Society.

Dr. Saxen’s accomplishments can also be found in the local community as well as dentistry. He routinely dedicates time to Mercy Hospital ’s Bethlehem Project, Habitat for Humanity Projects, The Stark County Hunger Task Force and the Dental Options Program. He’s also great with kids and coached Youth Sports for several years. 

Dr. Saxen is married with six married children, and currently eight grandchildren.
